I feel like cockroaches are eating my heart. I feel like my heart is in my hands and made of pieces of red jello, and I don't know how to juggle. But it seems that sometimes you have to do things you don't know how to do.

  1. There is no skill or trick to getting through (at least, none I am aware); success is not measured by those counts. Success, rather, is measured simply in getting by. Perseverance through pain will get you there. So hang in there until your jello again solidifies and your hands again find the rhythm to juggle.

  2. There's no magic solution for repairing a broken heart, I really wish there was so I could give you an extra large bottle of it. It'll take a lot of time, and a lot of hurting. But I can promise you this - it'll get better, and one day it will stop hurting completely. I promise. And some advice from someone who has had a lot of time to think about this kind of stuff - don't try to fix your heart alone. Surround yourself with friends and people that make you happy. I found that the literal phrase "broken heart" is pretty accurate. You gave most of your heart away, and it'll take a while to fill it back up again. But there are a lot of good people in the world willing to donate pieces of their heart, and piece by piece, day by day, you'll slowly add memories and smiles to the collage of your heart until you can step back and the cracks between the pieces will be nearly invisible. Until then, keep hanging in there. If you need someone to talk to, let me know, everyone should have someone they can lean on when the road gets heavy.
